Pc to Mac boot Camp account transfer? Running Vista and Windows 7?
I am getting a mac book pro in 2 weeks and i have a pc that i’ve been using for about 6 months now running vista. And i want to install windows 7 on my macbook pro using bootcamp. I know windows 7 isnt here yet but i already pre ordered it. Can i use windows easy transfer on my pc which is running vista to transfer my user account to my mac that will be running windows 7 bootcamp? And also when i do transfer it will all the software I’ve installed on my pc be transfer to my mac running windows 7 like Microsoft word, Nero 9, lime wire etc….? and will the book marks get transferred too i have like a billion of them it will take to long to type them all in again?
The Apple Store offers a free PC to OS X transfer Service, for all your personal data, call and ask them about it.
When you install W7 via BootCamp, you will have to install all Windows programs all over again.
Then, re-install all your personal data files.
