How does the upgrade version of windows 7 work?
I know that you need a previous version of windows installed.
can you do a clean install?
does it have its own serial or does it use your old install’s serial (or both)?
and lastly, oem full vs retail upgrade, which should I buy?
1)If you had a clean version then you be able to other wise no.
2)Usually it has it’s own serial and can not use old one.
3) You should get the oem. Retail is just a scam to make you pay more for what you could for at least $50 less.
