windows 7 dual boot xp upgrade
Can you upgrade to Windows 7 from Windows XP?

Can you upgrade to Windows 7 from Windows XP? Does dual boot helps?

Yes. Although, when you use an upgrade disc(and I think a full win7 disc), it will do a clean install, so there will be no XP on your system anymore. But after you install Windows 7, if you do have a windows XP disc and serial for xp, you should be able to install Windows XP again on the system. Only problem is, it can be kind of a hassle. Just search for something like: install Windows XP on Windows 7 machine, or something of the sort. You might have to find a program called vistabootpro(should be compatible with Win7, just look around), otherwise Windows 7 should be plenty fine of an OS for you to use without needed XP.
