how do you get your free windows 7 upgrade if you bought a pc in july from walmart?
I got a toshiba laptop from walmart in july and wanted to know how i get my free win 7 upgrade does anybody know? ?
you have to have windows vista
the version of 7 you get corresponds with the vista version

You have to contact the computer manufacturer, they may charge you for Post and packaging but cannot charge you for the software, if they#ve partcipated

You should try walmart first, then the computer manufacturer, one of them is obliged to give them to you. You will likley need a receit or some proof you bought the computer within the timeframe.
