Weird issue with running the Sims 2 with Windows 7?
I am running the Sims 2 and all expansions up to Free Time on Windows 7 and I am experiencing a weird problem. Game play is perfectly fine but occasionally, the screen will freeze and the game crashes. When I am back at the desktop, Windows Media Player is up, asking me to select some settings for it. This is a new laptop I’m using, but I’ve already done chosen my settings for Windows Media Player, yet continue to experience this problem. Any suggestions as to what to do?
Most of the time those problems point to a wrong video driver. See if you have a compatible driver, and go to the manufacturers web page to see if there is an update for it.
