Macbook pro vs. Laptop?
I am looking to buy a laptop. But i don’t know if i should buy a PC laptop or a macbook pro.
Currently Macs do not have Quad core… But i heard 2 cores was good enough. Think they’ll release a Quad core any time soon?I also heard you can run windows Xp (not sure if you can run vista or windows 7 on there) which might come in handy.
Or should I go for a PC laptop. I heard windows 7 is coming out soon. Idk if i should wait for that or just get vista and downgrade back to XP.
Please help me make the right decision. I am a student currently in high school but I am planning on going to University soon. I am also a person that listens to music, videos, and games.
Show me which one is the better choice by indicating it and then giving me the model/specs I should buy. Thanks.
Get a MAC Pro. It’s much better for multimedia and yes, it can run windows or any other operating system. You’d have the option to run an alternate OS by: (1) BootCamp or (2) through a virtual machine (e.g. VMWare, Virtual BOx, Parallels, etc.) My MacBook runs vista on VMWare. No problems so far and as for games, you can play as much as you want by dual boot or intel ports. No compatibility issues.
Get the 2.8GHz one with the 512MB video card. That ought to bring your game playing experience to the next level.
