Is there any way on Earth to run Call Of Duty World At War under Windows 7?
I tried everything….The game just won’t start. And, yes, I DO own the original copy…
Things I tried:
-changed compatibility mode several times
-ran it as administrator
-tried installing it on diferent partitions
-tried e-v-er-y-t-h-i-n-g that’s on forums
Please help me I’m so frustrated….

The only thing I can think of is suggest checking with the Treyarch(sp?) to see if they have a patch.
Outside that, create a partition and install XP or Vista to run programs you can’t run on W7…heaven knows that it’s not due to the chipsets being too advanced.
Oh…another possible issue that isn’t clear from your question and details… If the installation is on a laptop, as with most games, WaW was not put out with “support for mobile chipsets”. Whether they have added that support in any of the patches I don’t know. I don’t have WaW on my laptop, it’s on my desktop.
