I want to install IIS on windows 7.??hw can i do this?
Can somebody provide me step by step instructions??
follow these easy steps
Insert the Windows 7 Ultimate or Windows 7 Professional DVD into your DVD-Rom Drive.
Navigate to Start > Control Panel > Programs.
From the dialog box that appears, click on Turn Windows features on or off.
This opens another dialog box that displays a list of many Windows related services.
Check the box for ‘Internet Information Services (IIS)‘ leaving all the default installation settings intact. If you would like to install additional services, then expand each option and select them.
Once IIS is installed on your system you can view your home page in a web browser by typing ‘http://localhost’ you can type computer name instead of local host into the address bar of your web browser.
