Adding another language on my Windows XP laptop?
Okay so I want to add Japanese on my Windows XP, and I was wondering if I add it, can I still type in English? If so, how?
And how can I add typing?
I THINK I know how, this is what I did.
1: Start.
2: Control Panel.
3: Date, Time, Language, Regional Option
4: Add other Language.
5: Advanced
6: Add
7: Japanese
I think that’s how you do it, if it’s wrong, can you tell me the right way. I would prefer not to download anything.
Yes, that works. You can switch between input methods by pressing ALT + SHIFT.
You can switch from romaji to hiragana/direct input with ALT + ` (the key with the tilde on it, below “Esc” on most keyboards).
You can switch the currently selected text to hiragana with F6 or to katakana with F7.
