Is Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Compatible with the News Windows?
I was just informed that Photoshop 7.0 wasn’t compatible with the new Vista Windows? I was informed it will only work for XP. SAY IT ISN’T TRUE! I cannot afford the new Adobe Photoshops either. I am best with 7.0. I feel so sad, when I get my new computer one day that it might not have Adobe 7.0 on it? 
Please, tell me it isn’t so!
Your question is a little unclear with your statement: “new Vista Windows?”
If your talking about Windows Vista V7 will work on that platform, but Vista is hardly new, maybe your referring to Windows 7.
If that is the case then it is quite possible that Windows 7 may not be able to run V7, but not necessarily so, it may well run it OK.
However there is an addition to Windows 7 called “Virtual XP” this is a virtual environment that will run XP applications.
There is however 2 drawbacks:
1/. Its a bit complicated to get to grips with.
2/. The system CPU has to have built in support for virtual machines, this support has to be enabled, if it’s available, within the BIOS setings.
