windows 7 on mac
Which is better: Windows 7 or Apple Mac Book?

I have seen videos, look up information, and commercials for both these products, I am just wondering which is better in people’s opinions?

If you can. Please explain why Windows 7 or Apple Mac Book is better in your opinion.

Well, that’s just it. It all comes down to opinion. If games and universal compatibility are your number one priorities in owning a computer, you might as well go the Windows 7 route. Of course, that universal compatibility isn’t without it’s faults; it includes compatibility with far more trojans, viruses, and other nasty malware.

If you’re a programmer or designer, you might decide to stick with Mac OS X. It’s built around a Unix kernel and you can download an excellent development platform (XCode) for free, which also opens the doors to excellent software choices from the *nix open source community, via Macports.

Of course, as much as I enjoy the OS, I can’t justify spending that much on hardware, when Dell is dealing it for 75% less (albeit with a less flexible operating system).

If I were you? I’d just buy the cheapest, beefiest machine I could find and install a Linux distrobution. I recommend Gentoo, Arch Linux, and Debian as the top three learning OSes. But don’t go with Linux unless you’re ready to get your hands dirty peaking at how software actually works.

To be honest, I’d be more than willing to bet you’re just going to grab the nearest Windows 7 based machine, and that’s OK. It allows people like me to make a pretty penny on the side selling snake-oil inoculations, cleaning crapware off of machines (even though it’ll just return in two months anways — THANKYOU MICROSOFT!)

lol.
