does windows 7 install seamlessly over vista?
like i can pop in the rc disk type in my product key and 3 hours later i have all my vista files and programs like Photoshop running on windows 7?
If it does what it’s supposed to, yes.
There are some things like antivirus software you should probably uninstall first. Afterward you need to install a compatible version.
And clean installs (and backups) are generally recommended regardless.
