Can i sell my windows 7 64bit Professional operating system? (Its the student offer one)?
So in about september i heard that microsoft were selling either home premium or professional to students for 30 quid, which is a bargain so i bought it, but i don’t really need/want it, so i was wondering if it would be Ok to sell. I haven’t installed it yet, and the back-up disk (You can either download it and upgrade, or order a back-up disk and get a fresh install) hasn’t been opened or even touched.
I was looking on Ebay earlier and saw that the retail version was going for over 100 quid, so i was wondering, because mine is the student offer edition, it it sell able, and is it worth any less because it isn’t the official retail version (Its all legal though, no pirate copies or hacks)
Microsoft had a very restricted set of guidelines for who was eligible for purchasing this software including validation. At the very least, the person who you sell to must meet those requirements.

My advice would be to say no it is not re-sellable legally.
