windows 7 professional upgrade student
Windows 7 Questions That I Need Help On!?

Ok. I’m gonna take the college student deal to get windows 7 for $30. Since home premium and professional are gonna be the same price, i’m gonna get the windows 7 pro edition. I just need help on whether to get the 64bit or 32bit windows 7. I looked under system details and i’m currently running vista home premium 32 bit, but from what i’ve heard, programs are switching over to 64 bit these days. I was wondering if my computer could handle a 64 bit os.

Computer details:

Toshiba Satellite
L Series
Model: L305-S5875
Ram: 3 gb, need to upgrade this soon
HD: 300gb
Computer has intel pentium dual-core processor CPU: 2390 @ 1.86GHz.

Please help me make this decision. Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the help!

Yes your computer can handle it, win 7 would most likely run better than Vista. And you should get 64-bit if you plan to upgrade the RAM any more.
