Switching from Windows XP to Mac?

I am currently using Windows XP and would like to get a Mac but was wondering if I would need to purchase new software for Quickbooks Pro 2008, Quickbooks Pro Contractor 2007, and PS Elements 7.

The software that you are currently running on your Windows XP computer will not run on the Mac when you first buy it.

To get the software to run on a Mac you’d have to buy VMWare Fusion for Mac.

The software costs about $60. W/ Fusion you can actually run just about any windows based application on a Mac. If you get a Mac with at least 4 GB (some would say 8GB) you can actually run Mac OS and Windows at the same time.

All this is great but I still believe that buying a Mac is a waste of money unless you’ll be working w/ Graphics files.

Also, windows 7 rocks.
