Windows 7 RC1 question?
Before I take the plunge and install Windows 7 RC1 over my current Vista Ultimate I want to know if (when 7 is released offcially) I can just do an upgrade from RC1 to full release without a format and re-install? If I can I will probably install 7 on my main machine if not I will wait for the release. I have googled this and gotten no answers. If you happen to know your help would be appreciated especially if you can site your sources.

I dont think so.
“The RC will expire on June 1, 2010. Starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. Windows will notify you two weeks before the bi-hourly shutdowns start. To avoid interruption, you’ll need to INSTALL a non-expired version of Windows before March 1, 2010. You’ll also need to install the programs and data that you want to use. ”
I dont think that all the features will be in the RC. Same as the beta v. the RC.
