Remote desktop connection-help?
Hi I’m planning to buy a new laptop for my parents & they are very poor in computer stuff. Now I want to be able to remotely connect in order to keep the laptop in good condition or fix minor problems using RDP(I ve never used it before)
Coz of this I want to buy Windows 7 pro, but couple of doubts I ve been having. First since it will be home broadband,so it will be a dynamic IP, second port forwarding in the router. Now can both issues be overcome without much of hassles(like a paid DNS !!!!whatever)?Are there any simple solutions?

Just install teamviewer on your parents computer and your computer. You dont need to worry about ips. You parents need to start teamviewer and send the id and password to you over IM/phone. You start your team viewer in your computer and enter them. Thats it …you will start controlling your parents computer.
