Remote Desktop Connection questions..?
i just set up my remote desktop connection from my file server and it’s working fine im able to login to my server from the other network by forwarding the port 3389. but i also want to setup my windows 7 computer. i tried to port forward 3390 it wont work. i tried login to the remote using my public ip and i tried to use the public ip and :3390 i also turned off the firewall just to see if the firewall is blocking the incoming connectoion please help.
If the computer is on your local network (your house) then get it’s IPv4 address (typically 192.168.x.x) and connect to that.
