Downloaded IE 7 security update & windows XP update. Now my computer slows down & freezes.?
Either delete IE7 & the update and reinstall to see if it slows down & freeze the computer again in your spare time. If it does, then get rid of IE7, get rid of the update, and use Firefox or other free online browsers, if & only if there’s no reason for you to use IE7 or any updates.
I found that since after SP1, everything’s messed up in IE7.
If you have the option, I’d suggest you use any distro of Linux & or UNIX, NOT Windows. I’ve been using Windows for years and everyone knows that it sucks! They should get rid of pre-installed Windows now that Gates is gone! Pre-install Linux damn it. There’s probably a licensing fee for Linux systems which is less than M$’s price. DEPENDING on WHO, HOW & WHERE you get the servers, systems, distros, etc… you might need to pay between nothing and several hundreds or thousands of dollars for the system.
