Windows XP Professional SP2 Product Key troubles?
Well, I got a new computer a few months (about 2/3) ago, and I finally decide to upgrade to IE 7. Unfortunately, my computer failed the product key genuine thing. I bought this computer from a small town computer seller/repairshop-esque thing, and he had XP pre-installed on the computer, I can’t get IE 7 because I need a genuine key for it. I don’t know any other way of getting it besides torrenting it(which I don’t want to get in any more over my head). There has to be some other way of getting a genuine key besides buying it all over again (which I’m only 15 without a job). Can someone help me?
Go to the store where you bought the computer and demand a legal copy. If that doesn’t work call Microsoft and report the store. You can’t sell a computer with unlicensed software of any type.
