Can I use windows vista upgrade disc with no os installed on my computer?
I have a macbook pro and i would like to dual boot it with windows vista using bootcamp software on my mac os x. Can I use the windows vista home premium upgrade disc instead of the the windows vista (full) disc with bootcamp? I don’t want to pay the full price for the full disc? Is there a way to do this? Also please tell me if you think that your way can be applicable with windows 7 coming in October 22?
You cannot dual-boot your MacBook Pro with the Windows Vista Upgrade Disk because the disk is only for Windows based computers and Mac is a totally different OS. Mac is really different from Mac and you could wait for Windows 7 because Mac OS X is better than Windows Vista.
