Windows Vista vs Windows 7?
i need help from some of the few people that have goten their hands on the new Windows 7….i have just purchased a HP TOUCHSMART 12 IN 4GB 320GB LAPTOP TX2-1020US AS-IS…..i am not an extremely tech savvy to say the least…i use computers for basic things…but i have been told by a few people that Vista on the Touchsmart, is very unresponsive, slow, and difficult to work with…and that i should upgrade when 7 comes out….
from the view point of the world wide web community….should i upgrade right away…or wait till the prices go down a bit??????
Windows 7 and Vista are fundamentally the same thing. Windows 7 has a few updates and tweaks, though, so it is a little less resource intensive.
I don’t envision prices coming down for a long while, but if you have an e-mail address that ends in .edu, you can get Windows 7 Professional for $29.99.
