can’t capture video?
I am having trouble capturing video from a DV camera to my PC using IEEE1394 capture card. I can operate the camera through the PC but no video will display (no sound also). I have tried 2 different firewire cards, 2 different cables, and different capture software. (Windows Movie Maker and Roxio Easy Media Creator 7). I also have a laptop that the camera works with just fine using the same software and same cables. The PC is running XP Media Center, the laptop is XP.
I had the same problem in addition to not having any sound on my movie I made! UHG! I couldnt get any picture to show after attaching the usb plug but then changed the format that I record the movie in, which was to be mpeg format. Then and only then did I get to make a movie, now it has no sound? Can you help me now? lol. wic3@hotmail.com/Rick
