Video Card Assement in Windows 7.?
I have a BFG 8800 GTX 768MB OC2 and I am on windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, My score is only a 6.4 this seems horrible to me. My processor and Ram / Memory score a 7.3 np and I am ok with that they are in the 7 range. My question is what is the best / single highest scoring video card in Windows 7? I was looking at buying a Nvidia 295 but I think I want to wait for there GT300 coming out sometime in this lifetime from what I read online
I don’t care if the card takes up two slot spaces but it can only take up one PCIE slot I do not want to SLI no questions asked.
No rating isn’t that big to me just something to read but it brought it to my eyes that my old 8800 just isn’t as strong as she once was despite specifications. However I do want the fastest single PCIE card on the market and from what I have been reading the Nvidia GT300 is a whole new league.
The 295 is fine…you should probably wait some more so you get a card with DirectX -11 support if your only incentive to getting a new card is the Windows Rating. Though there are DX-11 cards on the market already but they don’t come that cheap.
