Do I really need 15 GB to use XP Mode in Windows 7 Professional?
Microsoft’s website says that I need 15 GB to install an XP Mode virtual machine. Can that requirement be relaxed? Can it be done with, say, 9 GB? I don’t have much free space on my hard drive. Thanks.
Use virtualbox. In this program, you have can have an expandable virtual hard drive where the hard drive gets bigger when you need the space automatically. But i’d say you need around 2GB for XP.
