Final Fantasy 7 on PC. Audio?
I have an old copy of FF7 for windows.. and I use vista. My problem is that when I connect my xbox 360 controller, the music doesnt play, though when I dont have the controller on, the music does play but I cannot control anything.
Does the problem lay with the controller or the installation?
Like a lot of old games, FF7 has some issues with newer OSes, especially Vista. You can get around them, though.
Firstly, I’d suggest checking the thread “Final Fantasy and Windows (Vista) are friends again!” in the All Games -> Final Fantasy section of IGN’s messageboard. Failing that, check qhimm.com, a site devoted to the PC versions of FF7 and FF8.
